...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho...

Portneuf River at Pocatello affecting Bannock County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Portneuf River at Pocatello.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Significant flooding of agricultural land
will occur from the Inkom and Blackrock area. Lowland flooding
will occur along sections of the river in Pocatello from Portneuf
Gap to the Cheyenne Avenue Bridge and downstream of the concrete
channel beginning at Sacajawea Park.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM MDT Monday the stage was 9.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM MDT Monday was 9.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.0 feet on 01/15/1977.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...Portneuf River at Topaz.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Lowland and crop field flooding possible
from Pebble Creek to Inkom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:15 PM MDT Monday the stage was 3.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 3.9
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then rise to 3.9 feet
Thursday, April 25. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Action stage is 3.5 feet.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

Details:
* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Magic Valley, Southern Highlands/Hills, Albion
Mountains and the Raft river region, especially the Yale and
Idahome areas along I-84.

* WHEN...From noon today to 11 PM MDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could make driving difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown
around. Blowing dust reducing visibilities is possible,
especially in areas of newly plowed fields.

Information:
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
