...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND LITTLE RAINFALL...

A strong low pressure system in northeastern California will
bring scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with
outflow wind gusts up to 50 mph and little rainfall. As the low
moves into southeastern Oregon late tonight and southwestern
Idaho on Friday, scattered thunderstorms will develop again,
especially on the Idaho side.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for winds and low relative humidities, which is in effect
from after midnight tonight through Friday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee
Mountains, 424 Western Twin Falls BLM and 426 Southern
Highlands.

* TIMING...From late tonight through Friday evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...34 to 46 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...65 to 73 degrees.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
